University Professor Sentenced for Attack on Pro-Lifers

Bradley Mattes   |   August 25, 2014

A professor at the University of California Santa Barbara—a bastion of ultra-liberal thinking—was convicted of grand theft, battery and vandalism.  Mireille Miller-Young stole a sign from pro-lifers, then destroyed it and attacked the sixteen-year-old girl holding it.  She pled no contest since it was caught on video.  She avoided jail time, got three years probation, and will serve hours of community service and anger management classes.  Miller-Young teaches porn and black studies—at the university.  Yes you heard that right.  The vice-chancellor basically defended her in a letter to students.  Other supporters said her actions were in part due to being pregnant.  Imagine if conservatives defended violent and illegal action that way.  There’d be a total outcry.  At least some justice was served.
