It’s that time of year again when we renew our ground passes at the United Nations. As president of the International Right to Life Foundation, it’s my responsibility to see that our lobbyists have access to the right people when they’re contemplating resolutions affecting the life issues. We have a top drawer team under the direction of Peter Smith from Scotland. They and others have been very effective at stopping the huge and well-funded pro-abortion organizations like International Planned Parenthood, the UN Population Fund, UNICEF and others. In spite of their considerable efforts, pro-lifers have kept them from gaining any ground since the mid nineties. You could say Peter’s team works to save babies and their mothers, while giving the other side heartburn, and they do it well. God bless them.
