Death Dinners

The newest chic thing for socialites in New York City is to hold “death dinners.” These are dinner parties where the conversation is about death and dying. They talk about how they’d like to go and under what circumstances do they want medical treatment in the end. Actually it’s a positive thing, but people in New York aren’t known for being religious. I hope they talk about where they’re going after they die, which is much more impactful. On a similar topic, the number of euthanasia deaths in the Netherlands has increased dramatically. If the US had legalized euthanasia and similar statistics, we’d be killing about three-hundred-thousand people a year. Sadly, Obamacare is going to push society in that direction. Maybe we should all be holding “death dinners” to prepare.
