I love baseball and enjoy rooting for my home team, the Cincinnati Reds. Recently the team repeated something from last year that’s now expected to be an annual event. They had Teddy Kremer serve as the batboy for a home game. Teddy has Down syndrome and totally stole the show for those attending and all who watched on TV. He asked third baseman, Todd Frazier, to hit a home run for him, and he did! After the Reds won the game, they televised an interview with Teddy and Todd. When Cheryl gave birth to Teddy, a doctor told her he would never be able to do anything. I hope that doctor was watching the game. And I hope doctors will stop telling expecting and new parents the horrors of Down syndrome because there are far more positives.
