Research Says Pregnancy Good for Women

Bradley Mattes   |   January 02, 2013

Scientists are discovering there’s a deeper link between a mother and child than first imagined. They’ve found male cells in the brains of women with evidence they’ve lived there for decades. Male cells have also been found in the blood of women after pregnancy. These cells are similar to stem cells that can become a variety of surrounding cells. What might these cells do? In rats fetal cells migrated to the mother rat’s injured heart, differentiated into heart cells and helped repair the damage. These fetal cells may also stimulate the mother’s immune system to stem cancer. Many more fetal cells are found in the blood of healthy women compared to women with breast cancer. Many pro-abortion activists say pregnancy is a curse or disease, but science is proving the opposite is true.
