We Can Do No Other

Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, is well-known in Christian circles. He recently said he won’’t pay the required surcharge to fund abortion in Obamacare. And he’’ll accept the consequences. Dr. Dobson said, “”Come and get me if you must, Mr. President. I will not bow down before your wicked regulation.”” Has the time come in the persecution of Christians for more to be required of us than being shunned and ridiculed? Will we be fined for living our faith, or worse? The Bible says we ought to obey God rather than man. If man’’s laws conflict with Scripture, then we must stand with Dr. Dobson and other American citizens saying no to the evil of spreading and funding abortion. As redeemed children of Christ, we can do no other.
