Chuck Colson with the Lord

A faithful servant of the Lord has been called home to be with Jesus. Chuck Colson, head of Prison Fellowship, has succumbed to a brain bleed, suffered weeks earlier. Chuck’’s life showed us God uses unexpected people to further His kingdom. He was a member of President Nixon’’s inner circle and sentenced to jail for his role in Watergate. This watershed moment turned Chuck to Jesus and was the motivating power behind his ministry to share the Gospel message with incarcerated souls. I was one of those who didn’’t know Chuck personally, but was impacted by him all the same. I often found myself trying to emulate his passion and love for brothers and sisters who’’ve been cast aside by society. Well done, good and faithful servant.
