It wasn’t until after the media called a grisly late-term abortion mill a house of horrors that it was shut down and Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist, and his staff were charged with murder. At least two women died, and reportedly hundreds of babies survived the abortion only to be brutally killed afterward. How could this happen? The Philly District Attorney in the Grand Jury report speculates it’s because the mill catered to poor women of color. Testimony revealed Gosnell allowed untrained staff to medicate the women unless they were white. Black and Asian women were forced to wait in filthy rooms before delivering their babies, intended of course to be killed. But Gosnell personally escorted white girls from the suburbs to a clean office with a TV. Racism prevailed, even in death.
