The tragic event in Arizona clearly demonstrates how fragile and fleeting life can be. I wonder how many of those killed that day thought about the possibility of entering eternity as they got dressed. It’s a reminder you and I should always be mindful of the preciousness of life, and God could call us home at any time. It’s also a stark reminder of the total lack of respect some in society have for human life. Please be in prayer for those who’ve been wounded. Please pray for the families of those killed. Please also pray for God’s wisdom and direction as Americans mentally process this tragedy. May the Lord use it to make us mindful of the preciousness of human life, and He alone has the authority to end it. May God grant us peace.
