Happy Birthday Times 4
I want to wish a happy birthday to four very special little babies who turned one year old Thursday. The quadruple bundle of blessing arrived to Tony and Sarah Stevens one year ago this week. The film crew of Facing Life Head-On and I had the very special opportunity to follow them (Jackson, Landon, Samantha, and Isabella) during and after the pregnancy, theyve grown especially near and dear to our hearts.

Whats happened in the lives of the Stevens family is nothing short of miraculous. Despite their initial doctors shocking advice to abort or selectively reduce the pregnancy, these loving parents knew they could never go through with such a decision. Turning to a new set of doctors here at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tony and Sarah were offered the encouragement and the medical care needed to carry these precious little ones to full term.
Sarah pressed on for 33 very long and difficult weeks to deliver all four of her babies, even surpassing the doctors goals. Despite many scary moments and a premature pregnancy, each baby has emerged victorious in conquering medical obstacles. Thanks to the help of the Good Samaritan Hospital team, many risks associated with quadruple pregnancies have been overcome. Their birth at the hands of these caring doctors is truly a celebration of new life.
The support that the Stevens family received from their faithful circle of family and friends and viewers of their special TV episodes has been tremendous. The right decision made in giving these babies the chance at life is an inspiring example, and its been made possible due to the diligent prayers of many others as well.
We are very grateful to have watched the Stevens family all along the way. Please continue praying for them. They continue to demonstrate to us that life is always worth protecting and that miracles do indeed happen. Just allow God to be God.
