The chemical abortion drug has become the most dangerous enemy of life in the womb.
Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry have inundated the public with false claims of safety, often comparing the lethal drug to over the counter medication.
In recent years chemical abortion has surpassed surgical abortion as the most common method of killing a child in the womb. This is in part due to the ease of access and public perception that it is a simple, painless, and safe option.
Thankfully, that facade is beginning to crack. KFF, a pro-abortion organization that conducts polling, research, and reporting, recently released an encouraging poll. Among women ages 18 to 49, roughly 41% of respondents view the abortion pill as safe.
While that number ought to be 0%, it represents an 18-point drop from just two years ago when 59% of respondents said they viewed the abortion drug as safe. There are several reasons for this drop.
As we have thoroughly documented, the abortion pill is anything but safe and women are beginning to notice.
Most obviously, every “successful” application of the drug results in the murder of an innocent child. Clearly, it is not safe for the patient in the womb. The drug has also proven to be much more dangerous for the mother than we were told by the abortion lobby and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Studies show:
- Over one in ten women who use chemical abortion pills will experience a serious adverse event.
- Women are at least 22 times more likely to experience serious complications from chemical abortion pills than the FDA’s label claims.
- Common complications include: sepsis, hospitalization, and hemorrhaging.

We are successfully educating the public on the dangers of chemical abortion. Women deserve to know the truth and their unborn babies deserve to be protected from this awful drug.
Any impartial observer who is willing to study the body of research available will come to the same conclusion. The abortion industry has lied about the safety of this drug with flagrant disregard for the health and life of the women who are taking it.
