Hundreds Gather on Capitol Hill to Defund Big Abortion 

Today, Life Issues Institute was proud to join hundreds of pro-life advocates gathered in our nation’s capital to send a powerful message. With over 300 individuals present, representing all 50 states as well as pro-life organizations around the country, we urged congress to defund big abortion. 

Each year Planned Parenthood alone receives $700,000,000 in taxpayer money through federal funding. In 2023 the abortion giant took the lives of nearly 400,000 unborn children. In the last election cycle, they injected approximately $70,000,000 into radical pro-abortion legislation and candidates.  

This must end. Congress has a unique opportunity through budget reconciliation to defund the abortion industry. Together, we can stop American’s hard earner taxpayer dollars from funding abortions.
