Celebrating 250 Years of LIFE, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness

Next year will mark two hundred and fifty years since our nation’s Founding Fathers set out to create a unique system of government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Thomas Jefferson famously promised in the Declaration of Independence that, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

In honor of this benchmark anniversary, we are announcing Life250, a yearlong celebration of life. This special initiative will highlight heroes of the pro-life movement, inspiring stories from real people, and the sanctity of all human life. We encourage you to join us as we share this vital, life-affirming message with our friends, family members, and church communities. Together, we can use this opportunity to help create a culture of LIFE across the country.

Life250 is a chance to honor our nation’s history and brighten its future. Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Sadly, over 64 million lives have been lost to abortion leaving dreams unfulfilled and generations erased. But we can still shape the future. Together, we can ensure that future generations enjoy the promise of our Declaration of Independence and the most basic right of all, the right to LIFE.
