The United Nations is now considering a radical redefinition of children’s rights that would treat access to abortion and gender transition as so-called “rights” for minors—stripping parents of their God-given authority and exposing children to irreversible harm. Draft General Comment No. 27 being discussed in Geneva would push “free and equal access to reproductive services” for adolescents and eliminate age limits and parental consent for abortion and gender procedures.
This is not protection of the weak, it is exploitation of the innocent. Children deserve true rights: safety, love, and the care of their families. As Christians, we must stand for life, defend parental rights, and proclaim that every child is made in the image of God.
