Anything but Swift Accountability

The Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia are in hot water.  Allegations surfaced last week that staff at Centreville High School both arranged and paid for the abortions of two students.  This was in violation of both parents’ rights and state law.  Reaction from school officials claimed to have just learned of the illegal acts.  And they promised “swift accountability.”  However, this was a lie.  A recording, surfaced from months earlier, showed that a teacher briefed officials on one of the abortions.  The teacher even followed up with an email.  This is anything but swift accountability.  Superintendent Michelle Reid finally acknowledged the accusations only after the situation generated an outcry from around the nation.  Let’s pray for justice on behalf of the two unborn babies.
