Carly Wesson and her partner Carl Everson were expecting their first baby in the United Kingdom. According to doctors at Nottingham University Hospital a genetic test revealed their unborn daughter whom they nicknamed Ladybird would require significant care and might not even survive the pregnancy. Believing their child was suffering, they aborted her at fourteen weeks – only to be told later the tests were wrong. It’s a tragedy to kill your child because he or she might be disabled. Even so, it’s hard to imagine the devastation this couple felt. In America parents often report they’re hounded by medical professionals to abort a baby considered less than perfect. In both the UK and at home those tests are often wrong. Either way, choose life for your baby and be blessed.
