Pray Over the Elections

I believe in the power of prayer.  Americans should be in earnest prayer over the elections.  Early voting has already begun so you and I should be praying the Holy Spirit will direct us, give us wisdom and discernment as we cast our votes.  And we have God’s promise He’ll listen to our prayers.  Proverbs fifteen, twenty-nine says, “The LORD is far from the wicked but He hears the prayer of the righteous.”  Romans twelve, twelve, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”  First Thessalonians five, seventeen, “Pray continually.”  This is only the tip of the iceberg.  The Bible has a boatload to say about the power of prayer.  So, please join me in regular prayer for our nation as we face another election.  And by all means, vote!
