Sunday is Father’s Day. I don’t say this in hope of adding another tie to the pile. It’s just that in general fathers are marginalized in society. If present in TV shows or advertisements, they’re usually depicted as weak buffoons. When it comes to the limelight, dads as godly leaders of households are far and few. But I see you. You work hard all day, come home to toss your kids into the air, covering them with kisses and hugs. You love your wife and lead your family in home devotions and regular church attendance. You’re out in the yard passing a ball to your son when you’d rather have your feet up. Dads, you are silently loved and admired for being the men God intended you to be. To you unsung heroes, happy Father’s Day!
