State Official Tells Employees to Defy Law

The people of Washington state and a supermajority of the legislature passed an initiative giving school parents the right to preview materials, inspect records, and opt out of things like sexual-health education that promotes abortion, among other things.  It survived a lawsuit by the ACLU and then State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Chris Reykdal told the states’ nearly three hundred school districts to ignore the law.  An elected official told public employees to break the law.  This is incredible arrogance.  Even the Democrat controlled legislature knew better than to fight the people on this wildly popular initiative.  The man defied the will of the people, the will of the legislature, and the law to accommodate the radical Left.  I hope there’s a way to recall this rogue servant of the people.
