Childcare Costs Add to Abortion Numbers

New research in Scotland shows forty percent of women who chose abortion did so because childcare was cost prohibitive.  Nearly all of the close to thirty-six-thousand woman polled said childcare almost or did equal their total paycheck.  This comes at a time government officials are facing a serious lack of population but parenthood is becoming a luxury item for many people.  According to other research, the numbers are similar across the United Kingdom with more than half of all women saying childcare cost was the sole reason for having an abortion.  Imagine being in the situation of aborting wanted children to make ends meet.  Plus, we live in an increasingly materialistic world that adds additional pressure to consider aborting the baby.  Please pray for these parents.
