Canada stunned the world by announcing their euthanasia program would begin killing people with mental disabilities this March. It had been delayed while they rallied more people to their side – but that didn’t happen. The prospect of exterminating people with depression or schizophrenia is a bridge too far for a growing number of people. Even the editorial board at the liberal Washington Post. They wrote that walking this line is “extremely hard, if not impossible. Canada’s system is not up to the task.” Then they issued this warning, “Americans need to keep a close eye on their neighbor’s experience and learn from it.” That’s putting it mildly.
