Pro-life pregnancy centers are being attacked at every turn by pro-abortion politicians. An Illinois law declared that the centers use a “deceptive business practice” and were labeled as “consumer fraud.” Their crime? They don’t provide abortions or refer women to abortion centers. Because these marvelous centers nurture women and their babies, at no cost to them, they’re branded as shifty establishments. Well, Illinois’ Attorney General agreed to an order permanently preventing the state from enforcing this infringement of free speech. The permanent injunction was under the signature of a District judge. These laws are frequently passed with the courts finding them blatantly discriminatory. This victory in Illinois is worth celebrating. And let this serve as a warning to pro-abortion politicians.
