Joan Retires

There’s so much going on in our nation and world today to darken our spirits.  So that’s why I want to brighten your mood by telling you about Joan from Clearwater, Florida.  Joan is ninety-two and just recently retired from praying in front of abortion centers.  She was such an inspiring presence, others wanted to volunteer when Joan was there.  Now here’s the thing not everybody knows.  Florida summers are a beast with the high temps and humidity, she maintained a presence every day from eight to four.  When asked why she put herself through it, her response was, “God asked me to go out there and pray, so I did.”  What about you?  Is God asking you to serve in some way to defend the babies?  Take your inspiration from Joan and say “Yes!” to God.
