Five pro-lifers were convicted for blocking an entrance to an abortion facility. It could result in an eleven-year sentence. During their trial the judge wouldn’t let them show images of babies aborted by the notorious late-term abortionist at the center in question. The images show the abortionist likely violated the federal ban on partial-birth abortion. The defendants wanted the jury to understand why they were blocking this abortion facility. But Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly refused to allow the evidence to be seen. She described the abortions as “undoubtedly unlawful under state and federal law,” yet she claimed the images were irrelevant. This conviction wasn’t justice. It was political payback for those bringing these babies’ bodies to light. Evidence that can’t be denied.
