Kentucky Centers Stepping Up

In the wake of the Dobbs decision, Kentucky passed legislation protecting all unborn babies from abortion.  And the state’s pregnancy resource centers are stepping up, helping women faced with unexpected pregnancies.  The Bside U for Life center offers loads of resources including free ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, STD testing and treatment, life skills classes, childcare and more, well after the baby’s born.  Jessie, one of their clients told them, “I don’t know what to do and I don’t think I can go through with this.”   The center stepped into the gap and provided her the resources she needed, and they were free!  Some months the demand has doubled.  Meantime, Planned Parenthood says they’re there for women.  But pretty much all they’ve offered women for decades is abortion.
