I Want to Annoy You

Nebraska state Senator Machaela Cavanaugh is upset with the proposed Heartbeat Bill protecting unborn babies if a heartbeat can be detected by the abortionist.  She threatened to filibuster every bill unless Republicans pull the bill.  She’s also upset about legislation protecting underage children from transgender hormones and surgery.  Cavanaugh said, “I want to annoy you…Because if you want to inflict pain upon our children, I am going to inflict pain upon this body.”  Does she see the irony of her statement?  The Heartbeat Bill would protect unborn babies from a painful death by abortion.  Cavanaugh boasted, “You cannot stop me.”  But even pro-abortion activists admit they’re not likely to stop the pro-life bill.  Voters in Omaha’s Sixth District are probably having buyers’ remorse right about now.
