My motto is the world needs more babies and Christmas trees. This week I’m sharing Scripture verses that help me keep that Christmassy feeling all year round. The thing that thrills our hearts at Christmas isn’t the gifts, but the birth of the Christ child. Few things generate such elation for me as holding an infant – the miracle of life. Babies were often at the epicenter of major biblical events. God’s promise was fulfilled through Zechariah and Elizabeth. Her unborn child was the first to react to presence of the Savior. Psalm 139:13 reads, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” There’s a heartwarming Christmas reminder in the birth of every child of God. May each one remind you of the manger.
