Congressman Chris Smith is Right

Congressman Chris Smith is a bold defender of unborn babies.  He wrote an op ed and here’s some of his thoughts.  He wrote, “injustice need not be forever” calling the over 62 million babies killed by abortion, “a staggering loss of children’s lives” equal to the “entire population of Italy.”  Yes, we’ve killed enough babies to wipe out an entire nation.  But he reminds us, advances in prenatal surgery have made the unborn “society’s youngest patients.”  And he predicts “future generations will wonder how a rich and seemingly enlightened society, professing devotion to human rights would aggressively promote death to children.”  Chris Smith will be on the right side of history, just as the abolitionists were many years ago.  Congress deserves a bad rap, but there’s many like Chris doing the right things.
