An Oasis Out of the Ashes

Often what Satan intends for evil; the Lord intends for good.  Such is the case with New Life Family Services when they established First Care Pregnancy Center in the area worst hit by riots in South Minneapolis.  God provided a piece of property and donors to build a comprehensive facility to minister to the needs of the underserved in this devastated community.  There will be a full-service medical clinic that provides prenatal services and family care.  Where poverty, drugs and trafficking are commonplace, there will be licensed social workers, nurses, and parenting coaches.  They’re partnering with other nonprofits to provide a holistic approach to care, like exiting sex trafficking and providing temporary housing.  Out of the ashes of the riots is coming a spiritual and physical oasis.
