Melissa McCarthy attended a London film festival promoting her new film. In the process, she teamed up with HBO Max for the Twenty Days of Kindness campaign. It highlighted 20 charities that demonstrate kindness, one of them being Exodus Cry which works to abolish sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. But when word got out the CEO made pro-life comments, McCarthy apologized to the Hollywood world and yanked Exodus Cry. Her apology ended with “Let the kindness continue.” What ironic words, when you stop to think that abortion is the most violent, lethal, and unkind act that can be done to innocent unborn babies. Instead of apologizing, McCarthy should have pined a gold star on the CEO and thanked him for his stand.
