When Mary Guzman picked up her kids from school, one of them talked about his new assignment. He had to write a paper on where he’d choose to go if he went back in time. When Mary asked him about his choice, he looked right into her eyes and said, “I’d go back and tell you not to abort Jacob and Hope” his brother and sister. Talk about a knife in the heart! Mary’s kids knew about the abortions, but she was confronted for the first time with the sad reality the kids were also affected. They too mourn and suffer the loss.
