Pro-Lifers Denounce Obama’s Shameless Support of Planned Parenthood

Editor   |   April 26, 2013

Cincinnati, OH (April 26, 2013) – Today, President Obama took the stage as the first sitting president to speak at a Planned Parenthood event. In his speech, he unabashedly proclaimed, “Planned Parenthood is not going anywhere.” He then proceeded to criticize pro-life activists stating that they “want to turn back the clock to policies more suited to the 1950s than the 21 st Century.”

Executive Director of Life Issues Institute, Bradley Mattes, responded, “I believe the President must be looking in a mirror. It is he and Planned Parenthood who are sending women to dangerous and squalid back-alley abortion mills like those in Philadelphia and Delaware.”

President Obama did not address the current trial of abortionist, Kermit Gosnell. Mattes continues, “With his silence, the President shows support for all abortion mills including those with unsafe and filthy conditions.” For example, at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Delaware two nurses quit due to “ridiculously unsafe” conditions for women. In addition, Mr. Obama stands with the Chicago area Planned Parenthood abortion mill that took the life of Tonya Reaves, killing her in a botched abortion.

“The President and abortion industry’s war on women is getting deadlier with each passing day,” Mattes concluded.
