It’s interesting to see how the dust is beginning to settle after the reversal of Roe v Wade. Vermont quickly passed an extreme law allowing abortion until birth. Even so, the Vermont Health Department reports there were fewer abortions the first year after Roe than the previous year. There were also fewer women who came for out-of-state abortions. And most of these came from New Hampshire where abortion is legal. Let’s look at Iowa where the legislature is trying to pass pro-life laws but the courts are hindering the effort. Even so, the number of abortions is down. This contradicts the predictions of pro-abortion activists. I think women know in their heart of hearts that killing their unborn babies is wrong, and the reversal of Roe encourages them to choose life.
