Vetoing Help for Mothers

On Mother’s Day weekend of all times, pro-abortion extremism was on display.  North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper vetoed an inclusive bill that would put in place common sense protections for unborn babies.  It would have provided millions of dollars to expand access to childcare, support for foster care and children’s homes, reduce infant and maternal mortality, and assist moms and dads with community college.  Governor Cooper sided with the abortion industry and against the state’s citizens. Thankfully the legislature successfully overrode his veto.  Now Governor Cooper is on record doing all he could to protect the gruesome practice of late-term abortion and denying medical aid to babies who survive them.
