April is Abortion Recovery Awareness Month and this week I’m sharing the stories of those impacted by abortion and their recovery. Gary said he was self-centered, self-serving, and self-gratifying. And when his girlfriend became pregnant, he believed the lie of abortion – at first – then, the weight of it hung over him like an anvil every day, crushing his spirit. Since then, a day never goes by when he doesn’t think of his daughter. “Every time I hear a child laugh, I cannot help but wonder what your laugh would have been like or what your favorite flower or color might have been.” Like many men, Gary believed the lies, but found hope and healing in Christ. Please visit lifeissues.org for more information and resources for abortion recovery.
