Let’s hear it for the states of Utah and Wyoming. Both passed far-reaching legislation protecting unborn babies and their mothers. Wyoming passed multiple bills, one ending abortion at conception, another prohibiting chemical abortion pills, and another increasing Medicaid coverage for women and babies from two months after birth to a full year. Utah is phasing out abortion facilities by next year. It will end the granting of licenses to these killing centers, and require abortions that can be done be performed in hospitals. Abortionists who violate the law will face disciplinary action. In the meantime, Utah’s Attorney General will continue its court battle to sustain the trigger law that includes broad protections for babies and their mothers. Two states. Two pro-life victories.
