Recently, the far-Left TV program 60 Minutes was mocked and ridiculed on Twitter. The long-running program featured Paul Ehrlich, who in typical alarmist fashion predicted doomsday for the world’s human inhabitants. You might remember his name. In the late sixties he wrote a book called The Population Bomb. In part it read, “The battle to feed all of humanity is over. In the 1970’s the world will undergo famines – hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death.” He said we must decrease the population “by compulsion if voluntary methods fail.” The methods he advocates include abortion. Ehrlich’s predictions have been thoroughly discredited. His career has been a total failure. Yet liberal media types use his refuted predictions to promote the killing of generations by abortion.
