The Texas legislature designated 100 million dollars to fund the Alternatives to Abortion program. Primarily, the money goes to pro-life pregnancy help centers. The Pregnancy Center of the Coastal Bend, located in Corpus Christi, will use some of this money to relocate and expand its center to 20,000 square feet. It’s reported they’ll have “nine counseling rooms, six sonogram rooms, a coffee bar and thrift shop.” Plus, there’ll be a man cave to involve fathers in the decision to protect their unborn babies. The center will be located next to a satellite campus of Texas A&M and will primarily serve young women in college. This center can certainly compete with lucratively funded Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest chain of abortion facilities.
