Welcome Baby Eight Billion

During November, baby number eight billion will be born into this world.  Some see it as a reason for wringing their hands and worry the earth won’t be able to sustain so many people.  I see Baby Eight Billion as a reason for celebration.  In Genesis 9:1 God blessed Noah and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.”  The earth is far from filled.  Most countries, including China, are desperately worried about not having enough babies.  So, we welcome the birth of Baby Eight Billion.  It doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or girl, brown or yellow, black, or white.  You’re not a liability but a blessing to all of us.  Like all the babies before you, God has a purpose for your life. so please join us in saying, “Happy Birthday Baby Eight Billion”
