Politics Over Science

In a welcome move, four medical associations and four physicians filed the first of its kind lawsuit against the FDA for putting politics over science.  It thrust dangerous chemical abortion pills on unsuspecting girls and women.  The suit charges the FDA legalized the pills by claiming pregnancy is an “illness” and the death drugs the remedy.  The FDA never studied the use of these drugs for abortion or their effect on girls.  It ignored chemical abortion causes more complications than surgical abortion and it eliminated important safeguards.  The FDA changed the dosage, how and when they’re administered and by whom, and allowed the pills to be mailed, bypassing medical examinations.  The FDA’s also covered up the damage by not reporting complications unless the patient dies.  Politics over science.
