During this special week of adoption programs, I want to tell you about two men who were adopted at birth and are making significant marks in the world. Aaron Judge is an outfielder with the New York Yankees. He recently made baseball history by breaking the American League single-season home run record. His Twitter bio reads, “Christian. Faith, Family, then Baseball.” Matt Breida is the backup running back for the New York Giants. His adoptive parents said at only six years old Matt declared he’d play for the NFL and be in a Super Bowl. He accomplished each. Both Matt and Aaron credit their adoptive parents and birthmothers for giving them life and a good one at that. High profile athletes or not, God always has a plan for every person.
