Every once in a while it’s important to remind you and my other listeners that God does not condone abortion in the event of pregnancy by rape or incest. Ayala was only in fifth grade when first assaulted sexually by a relative living with her family. She became pregnant at fifteen and hid her condition from an unsupportive family. Ayala said, “Our children are not responsible for the crimes of their fathers.” Sadly, she miscarried her daughter Rachel. Now, as she stands up publicly for babies conceived by assault, she’s forced to contend with pro-abortion activists who reject her daughter’s value. Ayala said, “Children like mine don’t deserve to be erased because of the way they were conceived.” On good days she’s thanked by other abuse victims for speaking out.
