Adopt an Older Child

In celebration of National Adoption Month, I’m bringing you this very special account of what several agencies and governmental services are doing to encourage potential adoptive parents to consider adopting an older child.  They produced and are airing special public service announcements promoting adoption based on true stories.  I’ve got to tell you, they’re very effective and incredibly touching!  Kids who age out of foster care are much more likely to suffer from homelessness, substance abuse, unplanned pregnancy, unemployment and more.  Please prayerfully consider adopting an older child.  One child advocate said, “Teens never outgrow the need for a healthy family.”  Watch the videos at lifeissues.org.  Adoptive parents benefit too and you can make such a difference in the life of a child.
