Pro-Life a Winning Political Issue

Pollsters wanted to know more about how Americans feel about abortion.  They polled voters in six states where there were political races for an open US Senate seat.  Abortion was one of the top three issues of importance to these voters.  And the results were very encouraging for pro-life candidates.  Over three-quarters of the voters support pro-life legislation while only 19% support a candidate’s stand allowing abortion until birth.  This means pro-life candidates have a great tool to use against opponents who support unrestrained abortion.  If I were running for office against a pro-abortion candidate, I’d be sure to bring up the abortion issue at campaign stops, telling voters how extreme and out of the mainstream my opponent is.  Pro-life is a winning political issue.
