Manufacturing an Outrageous Lie

Stacey Abrams is a pro-abortion candidate for governor in Georgia and deserves an award for Top Science Denier in America.  Last week she promised to rescind the state’s heartbeat law, protecting unborn babies when their heartbeat can be detected in a doctor’s office.  Abrams said, “There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks.  It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”  Settled science says the human heart begins to beat between sixteen and twenty-eight days after fertilization.  Imagine the offence Abrams caused to women throughout Georgia who have heard their babies’ hearts beating early in pregnancy.  Those who support unrestrained abortion have no valid argument, so they manufacture outrageous lies.
