Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Mitch Perry is either ignorant or blatantly misrepresenting the facts to further an abortion agenda. Either way it reflects very poorly on him. Ruling against a Kentucky pro-life law, he said it “impermissibly establish[es] a distinctly Christian doctrine of the beginning of life.” Not even close. It’s been established life begins at fertilization since 1942 by the Carnegie Stages of Human Embryonic Development. They should know. Every book on human embryology must include their research and conclusions. There’s no question when human life begins, and this Judge should not hide behind false pro-abortion talking points. It’s settled science that everything you are today was present in that single cell right after fertilization.
