If you follow the Summer Olympics, there’s a person you should keep your eye on – Keira D’Amato. She holds the world record for the women’s ten-mile run. Keira suffered an injury that took her out of running, and during her seven-year hiatus she had two children and established a career as a realtor. But now, she’s achieved a spot on Team USA and has her sights on the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris when she’ll be nearly forty years old. Keira secured a major sponsorship and is in training without sacrificing being a mother. Her husband, an Air Force veteran, brings other veterans to cheer her on in competitions. They’re thrilled she’ll be representing a country their friends died serving. Talk about having it all! God bless Keira.
