The strength of the pro-life movement is in the grassroots where you’ll find tens of thousands of volunteers giving of themselves and their resources to protect the most vulnerable among us – America’s unborn babies. One of those workers who deserves recognition is Betty Caffrey of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Betty recently turned 94 and continues her volunteer work. She’s spent decades serving pregnant women and their families, offering compassionate counseling as well as practical resources like baby clothes. What’s especially noteworthy is Betty has no plans of slowing down. As long as there’s breath in her body and the Good Lord allows, and as long as unborn babies and their parents need her, Betty will continue to make a marked difference in their lives.
