Grace Love and Determination

It was a huge breakthrough when San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone told Nancy Pelosi she couldn’t take communion because of her support for abortion.  It’s huge because others are following his example.  All four bishops in Colorado did the same for Catholic state politicians who voted for radical pro-abortion legislation.  Regardless of the denomination, church leaders must take similar action for the sake of the souls of the offending individuals.  Our Heavenly Father established both law and gospel as a gift to His children.  His expectation is that both be used to protect and sustain the souls of His lambs, and for the glory of His kingdom.  Abortion is NOT compatible with Christianity, so pastors must lead on the issue with grace, love, and determination.
