A recent analysis of abortion statistics by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute delivers more good news. During the early nineties, half of all unintended pregnancies ended in abortion. Two-plus decades later, one third of all such pregnancies ended in abortion. This shows we have lots of work yet to do, but it’s also a huge encouragement we’re winning the battle to protect unborn babies and their mothers from abortion. The reason for this long-term decline is threefold. Pro-life education is changing more hearts and minds; and the number of pro-life pregnancy help centers continues to grow, as well as their scope of assistance to parents and their babies. Thirdly, we’re advancing pro-life state legislation like never before. By working together as a movement, life is winning!
